I have a full-time job working from home. I enjoy the job and the arrangement quite a lot.
I was married to the wrong person for a few months. I've been married to the right one for six years. We have two cats, zero children, and we don't see ourselves adjusting those quantities any time soon.
I've lived most of my life in Pittsburgh, PA. Other places I've lived: Fayetteville, AR; Amarillo, TX; Holland, MI; Albany, NY.
I love writing. I just do what I do, and if I get recognized for it, cool. If not, no big deal. I have had a blurb published in the Planetary Report (on the front cover even), and I've also landed a professional blogging gig. If you love reading about GIS software- and, let's face it, we all do- see if you can find me.
I'm a computer geek and Star Trek nerd; an atheist, materialist, hard-nosed skeptic. I knit, cross-stitch, draw, write, and play piano whenever possible. I prefer comedy over tragedy and minimalism/moderation over excess. I love a good cup of coffee, the color blue, cats, and staring up at the sky.
