Remy is back on his feet again and feeling fine. Looks like I gave him just enough of what I've got to get good and immune to it, which I'm certainly glad about. =)

But I'm not terribly sure what I have. It feels like Pneumonia Jr.- indeed, this is the sickest I've been since I got pneumonia in high school. It's not quite the same, though. For one, I'm not congested (at least, for the most part). For another, standing up doesn't make me want to immediately throw up or pass out. But, I still have a sore throat, a phlegmmy cough that makes the sore throat hurt even worse, my voice is still mostly gone, I don't have much of an appetite, and occasionally, I do feel pretty nauseated. The fever's gone, but occasionally I also get too hot or too cold. And I've been sleeping like the dickens.

My concern is that I won't be appreciably better by Monday, which I'm sure my bosses are going to be thrilled about. That was the one thing I liked about my old BA/QA job: when you got sick, they let you take all the time you needed to get better. It didn't even come out of your vacation time. My boss occasionally even ordered me to stay home ;) Not so here. I will probably also have to drag my ass to the doctor. I think the last time I was there was right before freshman year of college.

Funny how I take my car to get his oil changed religiously every 3,000 miles, but I don't bother doing maintenance on myself. It's just more of a pain in the arse with people, methinks ;)

Ah, but here's a fantastic bit of news! No more paying rent at a place I don't live anymore, no more hobbit, and I get a nice big check. I can now start helping Remy pay his rent. The only bad bit is, my crap has to be out in a couple of days, and I'm not in the best of conditions to be doing that, heh ;) It's not too much stuff, though- a few walking trips back and forth should do it. Just please cooperate, weather! ::watching it blizzrd outside::
