Top 1000 high schools in America
Huh. My high school was ranked 637th in the nation.

You can look for yours here.

Mine doesn't, which is no surprise, and neither does any other school in Philadelphia. *snerk* Like anyone thought they would?

I was reading my mom the New Jersey schools that ranked, and her reactions went something like this: "Oh, really? - rich - rich - where? - rich - really rich..." I imagine that's pretty true for all the schools. Having taken the AP tests, which this ranking is based on, and with full knowledge of their expense, it's completely unsurprising.

Remy and I were talking about that- how unequal public education is. As with most things in life, if you have money, you're set. And yeah, the neighborhood I grew up in had some, shall we say, filthy rich bastards in it. It also had horrendously high school taxes. ^_^

Mine didn't rank either. Not a shock.
