This is what happens when you spend too much time testing
No more IE on my home computer, 'cause I didn't enjoy spending hours cleaning out spyware last night. I have a very basic version of Mozilla that I might tweak or add to later, though first I will probably spend some time playing with my LJ layout. I need to do something programmery.

Some other stuff I want to get around to:
1) Programming a game- anything- in either C++ or Java. Hopefully something nice and graphical. I didn't learn much about graphics in C++, so that might sway me to Java (teh h0rr0r!)

2) Learning Flash. Seems to be right up my alley, if only I can find a way around the inherent annoyingness associated with coding in it.

3) Getting away from Windows. Obvious problem here is that Nick would kill me. Maybe I could just have a dual-boot for when we want to LAN or something. Is that possible?

I need a reliable Mac emulator. t3knomanser has gotten me thinking of a series of games I used to have when I was exclusively a Mac user (up 'til the age of 16): "Dark Castle" and "Beyond Dark Castle." They were hysterical. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I've already coded with Java quite a bit, so no problem there (and I kinda like pointers- sniff). C#, I definitely should take a look at.

I never claimed to be smart, by the way. ;) I do intend to check out FireFox, I hear wonderous things about it.

What do you like about pointers that you can't do with references?

Aside from, of course, illegal memory accesses?
