Probably the worst part about the whole business was telling my mom- and she didn't even seem to care much once I explained that the Jeep was fine and that I'd be covering the damages. In fact, the very next words out of her mouth were, "Well, I'd wanted to talk to you tonight about getting you your own car." Wow, talk about sigh of relief there!
So, the Celica's out, 'cause I'll never be able to afford new, and all the used ones around here are only $3,000 less than new despite being three years old or older, go figure. We'll be heading to the Saturn dealership tomorrow to commence negotiations upon an ION. Not my first choice, but if I'm getting help buying it, then fine, whatever. Mom is planning to trade the Jeep in on it. Goooood riddance!
Tonight was my bachelorette night, but didn't turn out quite the way we'd planned. For one, my sister's and my mutual friend Tracy couldn't make it 'cause one of her relatives had to be rushed to the hospital. For another, there was a big accident on McKnight Road, which is where we wanted to head for the evening. So instead, Krissy and I drove south to Washington, ate at Friday's, then goofed around in Target for a little while. Pretty tame evening all in all; back home by 7:00 PM. What can I say, I am teh party animal.
Well, at least this weekend I'll be sleeping over at Mihoko's again. I heart Squirrel Hill. And we'll be dropping by the Tokyo store in Shadyside! <3 A, ii desu ne!
