"Am I annoying you NOW?"

Now, I've never been a fan of Verizon's ad campaign. "Can You Hear Me Now?" is what you say when your cellphone doesn't work. In other words, they chose the catchphrase of crappy cellphone service for their ad slogan. This would be like a car company using a slogan like, "What the Hell is That Grinding Noise?"

The guy has a valid point, but he went about this all wrong. It would have been a hundred times better if he had gone up to the front door, politely introduced himself, and engaged in a normal conversation with the guy. If he wasn't home, leave a note under his door. Shouting on a bullhorn in a private neighborhood like a jackass is just a tad douchey, and invalidates your message.
