Channeling Steve-O
Danger, danger, danger! This is an apex predator, top of the food chain! You don't want to try this at home.

Is it wrong that I laughed my ass off reading that tale? XD

((Believe me, as a fellow cat-slave, I know what it's like to feed cats pills they don't want. Fortunately, mine are behaved enough that they will tolerate my hiding said medications in food.))

Wrong? Heck no, glad it entertained you! ^_^

Yeah, sadly our cats don't fall for medicine in their food. I hear, though, that you can get them to swallow by touching their noses...

And I thought giving a toddler eye drops was bad. At least they don't claw you!

Heh! I was thinking how we might face similar struggles one day in the far-flung future, giving medicine to a kid. Rest assured, however, I won't be doing anything like that to get a kid to take his medicine!

The way my mom did eyedrops: had us lie down on the couch and close our eyes. She'd put the drops in the corners of our eyes, then tell us to blink ("Open-close," actually- that's the phrase she used for blink). Not saying my sister and I were always perfect angels about the process, but it didn't seem too bad... 'course, I can't remember how horrible I was as a toddler, heh!
