omglol ur name SUX
Someone in high school once not-so-subtly commented behind my back that she'd kill herself if she had my name. Apparently she's not the only one (courtesy of babynamesworld.com):

I was there to look up what "Erastus" meant, and got curious about what they'd say my first name meant. This is the first time I've ever come across this whacked-out translation; previous examples have been "love"/"protector" (German) and "daisy" (Farsi). Oh, and "everyone" (Japanese).

So, I may be highly unpopular, but I do make for interesting headgear. Maybe something Wagnerian, with horns sticking out the sides... or a Cheesehead. Yes, that's precisely it: a Cheesehead! PACKERS!!!

I'm tempted to make an icon with that on it: Helmet of determination.

For the record, I think your name is pretty :)

And I am tempted to create a magic item of that name for D&D, heh! Just have to decide if it will be a boost to perception (determining truth/correct course of action/etc.) or will (determination to complete one's tasks). Maybe both?

Thank you! I've always really liked "Purrsia" too (could it be 'cause I'm Persian? ;) )

I like your name.

My name doesn't exist lol it never does
Miusherimiusheri on January 7th, 2007 11:09 pm (UTC)
Well, your name does exist- I think it's the spelling that's tough to find. But that's cool, though, it's a neat spelling! Mine's spelled differently too (it really should be "Mina").

I like the two N's better. It seems...balanced somehow lolol I don't know.

Thank you :) I've seen it on some baby sites. Some list it under Kieran, Keri, and Karen. Kerrin itself is supposed to be a male name in Ireland and probably a form of Kieran, makes the most sense because when I think of how I would say Kerrin in an Irish accent, it sounds like that! lol So in that case, I mean dark-hued.

>:p I'd rather be known as a "Looney" than a "Douche."**

Your name is cool, so nyah on High School Girl.

** = Will only make sense to those who know my and Miusheri's (in her case, maiden name) last names.

Hehe! My sentiments exactly. For whatever reason, that incident has just stuck in my head this long.

Oh! And I kept my last name when I got married this time, because a) I have no qualms with it and b) I found out the first time around what a royal PITA it is to change it (especially when you want to get your maiden name back- sheesh!) ^_^ I'm still a Lunney in the very real and legally binding sense, but I don't mind if someone calls me "Mrs. Porter" either. Just be patient, 'cause it'll probably be a little while before the light bulb goes off and I realize you're talking to me ;)
