PICTURES!! =D
Scanned them all in yesterday- click here to see them! (link opens in new window)

EDIT: This looks hilarious, but I don't want to risk $20+ on the chance that it actually sucks. Has anyone seen it and, if so, what was your opinion?

PICCIES!! <3 <3

This is my house, at least for another week...Here's Nick's home.

Oh wow! Both are pretty, and the land looks just like what you'd find out here in Illinois! (Forgive teh ignoranc3, but I'd always pictured Pittsburgh as being very city-ish, heh)

I don't know why, but I love tree-lined paths. (I love coffee too.)

Tree-lined paths rock. I like only the smell of coffee, I can't stand to drink it, lol. ;)

Note to self: half-concealed lawn mowing equipment is not exactly conducive to a romantic atmosphere

Aww! Hehe well at least it wasn't *running* at the time... ;)

If I gotta dress up, I'm gonna do it at least a little subversively.

LOL

Left to right: Krissy (my younger sister), me, and Mom, just before I started tearing into presents...

Present-tearing-into is TEH BEST EVAR!!!! :D

Hmm, maybe it's just me, or else it's kinda hard to say from that pic, but your sister looks older than you. You guys all look lovely!

My car in Nick's driveway, now with spoilery goodness! It's a very understated but tasteful spoiler, IMHO.

CAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!! *squees* Understated but tasteful spoilers are always the best kind. I've seen some that made the car look like either the bastard lovechild from an affair with an airplane or a shopping cart - in fact, my brother calls those really big rounded ones "shopping cart handles." XD

Very, very nice pics! *glomps* :D

It is, closer to the city. ;) But the further out you go, the more you enter Suburbia. My neighborhood is on the fringe of Allegheny county, about 13 miles from the city. Nick's is further out, in Washington county.

Definitely an acquired taste, mostly acquired out of the necessity of having to stay awake on limited sleep. ;) At first I could only drink something if it was heavily sweetened and/or chocolate-flavored. Nowadays, plain black coffee suits me fine, too.

Thanks! Yes, Krissy is taller than I am and has always looked older! If people don't know us beforehand and come over to visit, they always assume that she's the eldest daughter. ;) Sometimes we joke that I'm Daria and she's Quinn.

LOL! Some of those suckers seem to cry out, "Please pick me up and swing me into the nearest trash heap!" The worst are the ones that look like Erector sets and are left unpainted. Eww!

Thanks for all your kind words! =D

Even within the city, though, Pgh is a rather green city compared to many/most US cities.

Aren't we supposed to be the greenest?
