Ahmadinejad has been sworn in, amid protests: Tehran Bureau - BBC - CNN

Keep pretending everything is rosy, you dipshit. I hope it bites you in the ass. I hope the reform movement continues to gather momentum, and I hope your stupid regime falls in favor of something better for the citizens of Iran and the world.

One of our abiding cultural traits, as Persians, is that we don't take shit from anybody. We may have to tolerate it for a while and bide our time, but we don't forget, and we come back fighting. Khameini and Ahmadinejad seem to scoff at the Persian spirit, and I hope it proves to be their undoing.

Bent, but never broken!

Hear, hear!

I caught a brief snippet on the news of Ahmadinejerk getting crowned for the second time - the media quoted him as saying he "wouldn't tolerate any disrespect, blah blah" and I thought, yeah, enjoy it while it lasts, assberry, because a LOT of people would love nothing more right now than to kick your smug little smirk in. I heard quite a few high-ranking officials refused to attend the ceremony, and from my (limited) understanding of such cultures, refusing to show up at ceremonies like that constitutes a big, big insult - which says volumes about how well-liked/respected Ahmadinejad is!
